About Us
Awaken Lotus House is a mother-and-daughter project created by Linda Robinson and Sage Robinson, two women whose own experiences with recovery have shaped the way they see community, personal growth, and what is possible in a life beyond addiction.
Their paths into recovery are different, and each brings a unique perspective to Awaken. Linda brings decades of lived experience in recovery, along with her work as a personal and business coach, consultant, and seminar facilitator. Sage brings more than a decade of experience in mindfulness, personal development, group facilitation, conflict resolution, and team building, along with training and experience related to substance abuse counseling and relapse prevention.
What they share is a belief in the importance of connection, self-awareness, and taking an active role in creating a meaningful life. Their own journeys have influenced the culture they want to cultivate at Awaken — one that honors the foundation of 12-Step recovery while making space for mindfulness, personal discovery, healthy relationships, and growth.
Below, you’ll meet Linda and Sage and learn more about the experiences, values, and vision they bring to Awaken Lotus House.
Meet The Women Behind Awaken
Linda Robinson
Co-Founder
Linda Robinson has been clean and sober since 1992 and has built a life that reflects the possibilities of long-term recovery. She is a personal and business coach, consultant, seminar facilitator, and lifelong adventurer with a passion for scuba diving in tropical places. At 74, Linda describes herself as feeling more vital and alive than ever. She is also the Director of Coherence Institute Training, where she trains and certifies new coaches.
Linda’s own recovery journey began with treatment and continued into sober living with other women. That experience gave her a lasting appreciation for the importance of recovery, community, structure, and healthy living. Today, she is grateful to be able to give back by helping create that same sense of security and connection for women at Awaken.
Co-managing Awaken with her daughter, Sage, is especially meaningful to Linda. She finds joy in watching women become more secure, connect with one another, and experience the strength of a healthy community. Alongside the home’s 12-Step foundation, Linda believes mindfulness and meditation offer a meaningful complement to recovery.
“12-Step recovery and mindfulness together is a great marriage.”

Sage Robinson
Co-Founder
Sage Robinson is a mindfulness practitioner, Master Trainer with the Coherence Institute, workshop and retreat facilitator, and co-founder of Awaken Sober Living. With more than a decade of experience in personal development, mindfulness, group facilitation, conflict resolution, and team building, she has dedicated much of her work to helping people create greater connection, freedom, and possibility in their lives.
Her professional background also includes training and experience in substance abuse counseling, CBT, DBT, and relapse prevention. While Awaken Sober Living is not a clinical treatment program, these experiences have contributed to Sage’s understanding of recovery and continue to inform her approach to leadership, communication, community, and creating a healthy home environment.
Sage’s own recovery has been deeply connected to mindfulness and meditation alongside 12-Step recovery. For her, recovery became an opportunity to discover who she is, develop healthier ways of meeting life’s challenges, build meaningful relationships, and create a life that feels authentically her own.
That perspective is central to the culture she hopes to create at Awaken. She values a strong 12-Step foundation while making room for optional experiences such as meditation, yoga, expressive arts, sound baths, nutrition and cooking, talking circles, and other opportunities for connection and self-discovery.
“For me, recovery has been a process of learning to become unapologetically authentically myself and loving who I am.”
Our Shared Vision
Built from lived experience. Guided by connection.
Linda and Sage share a vision for a recovery home where women can take their recovery seriously while still having room to discover who they are and what they want their lives to become.
They believe a healthy recovery community can offer both accountability and belonging — a place where women can build meaningful relationships, develop confidence, strengthen everyday habits, and continue growing beyond their time at Awaken.
Their goal is to create an environment where recovery is respected, individuality is honored, and each woman is encouraged to take ownership of the life she is building.
